The new Loch Ness 360° Website is now live! You can find the new website HERE
Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN) announced today the launch of their new website to promote the LochNess360ﹾ trail. It is yet another milestone in the development of the trail and follows the completion of improved on the ground signage and information earlier this year.
The website www.lochness-360.com was developed by The Posh Agency, Glasgow, and as well as detailed information about the 129km route, how long it will take to walk or cycle, places to stop and visit along the way and much more includes provisional details of the new Loch Ness Challenge event which VILN expect to establish on the trail in June next year . VILN also recently commissioned ThisWayUp Media to produce video footage of the trail which features prominently on the website and the LochNess360ﹾ social media pages.
Graeme Ambrose, CEO of VILN said “We have worked closely with POSH to ensure that the website provides the information that users of the trail want to read and know about and are delighted with the outcome. With strong imagery and video content it also really shows off to the walker or cyclist what a wonderful long distance trail this is, with varied and ever changing views and landscape it is we guarantee, an experience you will never forget! Over the coming months though we will continue to work with POSH to add more content including an interactive map of all points of interest on and near to the trail.” Graeme went on to say that “although it was early days it was clear from the increasing numbers of walkers on the south side of the loch that the LochNess360ﹾ trail was already a success and offered great opportunities for local businesses to benefit from it.”
Jenny Mills, the POSH Agency said “This has been an incredibly inspiring and energising project to work on as a digital design and marketing agency. To bring this site to life so soon after launching the new Visit Inverness Loch Ness destination website at the end of 2018 was a wonderful adventure. The design and delivery remains closely aligned with the Visit Inverness Loch Ness website, yet allows the LN360° Trail to shine bright in its own right as a wonderful new brand in this epic region. We really wanted to show the essence of the adventures of this trail and showcase its natural beauty as well as the vast opportunities for trail users to experience Scotland at its best along the way. We will continue to adapt and grow the site in line with customer needs and wants to ensure this trail becomes a true beacon within Scotland’s adventure travel market”.
