The excitement of the new competition is building, with over two hundred players expected to enter the event on Saturday 31st August.
It will be the first competition to be played on the course following the official opening by Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallagher on Friday 30th August.
The following day, the ladies of the club are holding a charity day in aid of Macmillan cancer nurses, which Cobbs are also delighted to be supporting.
The course has been designed by Scottish golf architect Stuart Rennie, his first new-build course project. Discussing the course, Stuart said:
"It provides a lovely challenge to golfers of all ability, with every hole different.
"It is perfectly designed, with water hazards and bunkers suitably placed. I would say it is the best inland course in the Highlands.
With two hotels located nearby, Cobbs is ideally situated for golfers looking to enjoy the new course, with Loch Ness Country House Hotel just a 5-minute drive away.
